About Treatment

Starting counseling can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. I want you to know that coming to therapy is a brave step, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and valued.

When we work together, I draw on a range of evidence-based methods, including traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic approaches, holistic strategies, relational therapy, and trauma-informed care. Each of these tools is chosen to help you process experiences, build practical skills, and strengthen your connection to yourself and others.

In our sessions, we balance reflection and skills-building. Some sessions may focus on exploring feelings, memories, or experiences that are weighing on you, while others focus on learning coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and tools to navigate life with more ease. Together, we find the rhythm that works best for you.

My approach is relational and holistic. Healing isn’t just about talking—it’s about nurturing a sense of connection, understanding patterns in your relationships, and fostering compassion toward yourself and those around you. Therapy is a collaborative journey, tailored to your unique needs, goals, and pace.

You don’t need to have all the answers before starting. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support as you explore, grow, and strengthen your capacity for self-awareness, care, and meaningful connections in your life.
